ABOUT MRH DESIGN
MRH Architectural Design & Planning was founded in 2005, and every day we are inspired by the projects we get to work on. In all of our designs, we strive to find the perfect balance between comfort and beauty within our build environment.
With over 25 years of experience working for highly successful Architectural & Building Consultants, as well as the government agency Historic Scotland, starting up MRH Design practice was a natural progression allowing more freedom and expression.
Now with an established client base and an ever-evolving and diverse portfolio, MRH Design continues to take pride in providing a personal and tailor-made service to each and every client regardless of how large or small the project.
We have found the majority of our work from recommendations and repeat clients. Some projects to date have included residential extensions, bespoke houses, commercial, restaurants and pubs, apartments, care homes, hotels, and horse riding centers.
( both private & public sectors throughout the UK and even a couple of
European private commissions! )

Our detailing & planning skills have developed from both private & commercial clients through many years of experience in practical design & specification, on-site experience, and good healthy relationships with industry-related professionals.

MRH Design offers many services that can be tailored to suit your particular requirements. We can take your project all the way from the initial sketch design through to the construction and completion of the project.
During the process, we can provide on-site surveys, sketch designs, topographical surveys, drainage design, feasibility studies, planning drawings, building warrant drawings, energy certificates, 3D visualisations, deed plans, building certification, and much more.

CONSULTANTS
In order to provide our clients with a comprehensive, professional service we work closely with other local industry professionals and companies.
We consult on a regular basis with chartered surveyors,
landscape designers, engineers, underfloor heating specialists, renewable energy companies, and ecologists.
This allows us to keep up to date with all the latest rules and regualtions.
FEES
We are flexible on fee arrangements and are happy to structure a package to suit your individual circumstances.
This can be broken down into either hourly rates, fixed fees, or percentage of the project fees.
We recognise that a client desires the best value for money and thus, we are happy to have a discussion regarding this.
